- Your Key Responsibilities: Global Job Name: Project Manager 1. Establish the project team considering all needed project functions and manage the teamwork; 2. Ensure overall consideration of the Schaeffler PEP processes and guidelines; 3. Cross-departmental planning for all functions involved to meet the Project targets and requirements 4. Establish and lead a cross functional team to ensure program/project objectives are being met within designated parameters. 5. Establish communication routines among the project team, the customer and suppliers 6. Direct and coordinate activities of project/program personnel to ensure program progresses on schedule and within budget. 7. Use the change management process to maintain and improve program profitability 8. Prepare and handle of project documentation, contract design and budget planning 9. Represent the assigned project in an expert manner to the customer and to the SBU management. 10. Manage project reporting and escalation meetings 11. Systematically pursue and realize the project goals, while assuring compliance with company processes and standards Your Qualifications: 1. Bachelor or above mechanical or automotive engineering or similar University education; 2. Minimum 3 years of professional experience within the automotive industry 3. Proven competence in dealing with customers, suppliers as well as employee associates 4. Entrepreneurial mindset supplemented with exhibiting leadership qualities 5. Proactive and collaborative approach towards problem solving 6. Ability to thrive within a global matrix organization. Willingness to travel frequently
